Suggestions for 'Ban EVM' Peoples Movement!
Suggestions for 'Ban EVM' Peoples Movement!
While appreciating the steps taken to collect a Target of 50 Crores of Indian Voters Signatures against EVM by respected Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, National President of Rashtriya Janhit Sangharsh Party [RJSP]; I have some broader ideas towards accomplishing this huge task with broader & all inclusive approach by an All India Committee; comprising of All Political Parties [except BJP of course] instead of just RJSP alone; as banning of EVM is in the best interest of all the opposition parties in India; nay it’s in the best interest of all the people in India!
So, it will be better to create a firm, broad & strong foundation before going ahead the struggles to Ban EVM in India!
Of course, the earlier EVM is banned in India, the better it is for all but our ultimate target is to ban EVM before the 2024 Lok Sabha Election in India and so, there is at least some 2 years time to prepare and spearhead the struggle!
All struggles against injustice need united efforts with proper preparations, discussions, consultations & plans among strugglers and it is a must as we know already that United we Stand & Divided we Fall!
So, primary steps for this struggle should be; Uniting People of India of all backgrounds [Political +Social +Religious +all Others] at the maximum possible way all inclusive!
So, here are Some Suggestions for People’s Movement Against EVM in India step by step:
1. First Step: To organize an all India Convention inviting Important Representatives of all backgrounds [Political +Social +Religious +all Others]; Convenor can be RJSP as done recently, calling a meeting in Delhi in this regard; or convened jointly by some Political Parties & Other Unions together (second option is better); but this time, it should be with closer personal contacts & invitations in a broader prospective!
In that Convention; to create a national level All India People’s Committee [Forum] e.g. ‘United India Against EVM’ [Central Committee] [UIA-EVM] [CC] or some other Title as suitable; with Head Office in Delhi that should include especially all the Political Parties except BJP + all the Farmers Unions + all the Lawyers Associations + all the Youths Organizations + all the Women Organizations + all the Social & Religious Organizations + All the Trade/Business Unions + All the Workers Unions + All Individual Activists etc.
2. Second Step: To open Branch Offices of UIA-EVM in all the States & Union Territories of India and create UIA-EVM Branch Committees [BC] in all the States & Union Territories.
3. Third Step: Under UIA-EVM [CC] and with direct supervision of the UIA-EVM [BC] and using the Party/Organization Workers [Political + Social + Religious + Others] to start Door-to-Door Campaign to Collect the Signatures of All the Voters against EVM at the Village, Town, District, City, State levels and then, submit the same to UIA-EVM [CC] in Delhi Head Office!
4. Fourth Step: After collecting the Voters Signatures against EVM say the target of 50 crores; then, UIA-EVM [CC] from Delhi Head Office can approach the President and the Supreme Court of India with the concrete evidence that the majority of Voters in India are against the use EVM [Electronic Voting Machine] in all Elections in India and Ban EVM.
Another way to Ban EVM by people's movement is to force at the local level; all the MPs in Lok Shabha & Rajya Sabha coming from the states & union territories to Pass Bill Banning EVM in the parliament at the earliest!
Agitation programs can be organized on weekly/monthly basis in the national capital Delhi and in all the capitals of all the states & the union territories!
Thus, after creating a proper & broader foundation stepwise as above; people’s agitations can be organized & continued till EVM is totally banned in India!
JAI BHARAT!
Thank you!
