FROM DARKNESS TOWARDS LIGHT!

Dear Friends,

Let us here discuss on miscellaneous topics on how we can progress from darkness of wrong doings & unhappiness towards the light of right doings & happiness in all spheres of our life as below:

1. Truth may hurt but it will heal in the long run and so it is better to be truthful & tell the truth rather than conceal it to please people. Truth is like bitter pills that heal diseases or a cold shower that rejuvenates/refreshes our body. So, let us be truthful always while dealing with all.

2. When we see people doing wrong/bad things, we should oppose/stop it if possible by direct action, if not so, at least by our thoughts & words against those unwanted deeds. Remaining silent when we see people doing wrong things is equivalent to supporting people to do wrong. When you see fire blazing in your neighbour’s house, it is your concern that you help to douse it else sooner than later fire will burn your house too.

3. Weak/corrupted/bad people should never be put in the leadership positions because by doing so they will harm/degrade the whole system and so the public election system allowing weak/corrupted/bad people to be elected as public leaders through corruption/influence/party politics is a wrong system of democracy. No corrupted/bad people should be allowed by law to stand for public elections anywhere.

4. This new world generation don’t need any religions anymore. Religions were needed in the past centuries of human evolution when humanity needed guidance on how to live a good/happy life. By now with spiritual awakening of the people around the world what humanity needs is some spiritual principles like LOVE, PURITY, CLEANLINESS, DUTY, SINCERITY, EMPATHY, NON-INJURY, EQUITY, UNITY, PHILANTHROPY, JUSTICE & HAPPINESS. Just by following these simple spiritual principles; humanity can live prosperous & progressive in love & harmony; we don’t need any religions by now that brought disunity/hatred/enmity/fights/war in the world.

5. Spirituality i.e. following what our spirit [soul] wants is the best eternal religion because our spirit [soul] represents God and so what our spirit [soul] really wants is what God really wants us to do/follow and so following our spirit [soul] is what humanity needs to follow and not any dogmas or man-made imperfect & egoistic rules of the so called religions. Spirituality is all about being a good human being and doing good to the humanity & to all beings.

6. Spirituality has nothing to do with idolatry, temple worship, going to church or mosque, rituals, mantras, worshipping of ghosts/demons etc. Spirituality is not living a beggar’s life but being a master and living a dignified life. Spirituality is not about becoming a homeless person or renouncing family and material comforts and living in a cave or in the forest. Spirituality is about living amidst people in the world doing good and being happy like a beautiful lotus flower blooming in the mud.

                         

7. Slavery is wrong to whomever or wherever it may practice. When you enslave people, the karmic effect is that sooner or later the slaves will become your masters. America [USA] is the vivid [current] example for this truth.

8. It is ultimately pointless/futile to build up big defence systems at the cost of other more important welfare activities/development of the people/society. The collapse of the erstwhile Soviet Union was the vivid example for this truth.

9. Prejudice/hatred/genocide is wrong to whomever or wherever it may practice. The ultimate humiliating defeat of the Nazi German [World War 2] who openly practiced prejudice/hatred/genocide against the Jews & some other human races was the vivid example that those who do so will be ultimately defeated.

10. Humanity should support/encourage spiritual people and spirituality to live a good/happy life for all. All prophets who came down to earth to guide the humanity on the right path of good/happy life were indeed truly spiritual people who practiced spirituality in the exemplary way. Any people or a group of people who do harm/torture the spiritual people will face the bad karmic reactions very badly and that is what happened to the Jews [long suffering] who crucified/tortured/killed Jesus who was a highly spiritual person/prophet. So, it is a vivid lesson that people should never harm/torture/kill a spiritual person rather people should love/support/encourage spiritual people because they are the benevolent people who will bring true happiness in the world.

11. To live a good/happy life, humanity needs both spirituality & material progress. Giving importance to only one side is like developing only one wing of a bird that cannot help it fly thus defeating the very purpose growing the wing. So, a balanced growth of both spirituality and material progress is what humanity should aim at for a good/happy society where all can live happily together.

12. Equality of humanity doesn’t mean that all humans should look alike or have same physical size, height, weight or color. It is all about knowing our physical differences and respecting each other of our variety but at the same time understanding our spiritual oneness thus giving honoured space for existence to all; like in a garden we make different lawns to grow different flowers of all types/shapes/sizes/aromas and allow them to bloom beautifully together in the same garden. If you like or don’t like any particular flower is OK but don’t destroy the flower you don’t like because there are other people who like them! Apply this same conduct while dealing with humanity, if you don’t like some people just be away from them but don’t harm/kill them just because you don’t like them, leave them alone.

13. Everything is good in the world provided you know how to use them. Superstitions are no good for humans. Daytime is good as well as night time. All colours are good depending on when & where you use them. Just keep your mind for the best/highest good of all while doing anything and when you do so your own best/highest good is served as well simply because you are a part of the whole [all]. I end this inspired write-up here at number 13 because I am against the superstitious belief that number 13 is an unlucky number; rather to me all numbers are good numbers and so number 13 is a good ending J
