FROM POVERTY TO GOOD & HAPPY LIFE!

Dear Friends,

World is full of problems but there are solutions for all the problems and among all the problems, poverty is of utmost concern because majority of the people in the world are still poor. Most of the poor & extremely poor people are living wrong ways of life knowingly or unknowingly.  So, this article is to awaken people to this reality and guide people from poverty to good & happy life by transforming their ways of life for the better.

The best solutions should give lasting happiness to all. Happiness is good for all. If we want to create a happy world, we gotta address the majority of the people who are still poor and worried about their day today survival. We gotta think on how we can give hope and happiness to all. Both spiritual and material helps are required for people to overcome poverty.

Having said that the truth is that we are all born with different qualities and so all people cannot live at the same level of prosperity but we should give equal opportunities for growth and prosperity to all so that all can live happy within their capacities.

Those who have more than enough should share their surpluses with those fellow people who have least so that humanity as a whole have the hope and experience that all have enough to eat, have clothes to wear, have shelter to stay, get free foundational education and that doors are open for all to progress in life. This is empathy and humanity needs this harmonious fellow feeling and helping one another so as to live happily together on this planet.

Poor people need to be educated on why they remain poor, so that they can overcome their poverty through proper education and change of their attitude and lifestyles. Keeping poor people remain as they are, is a big disservice to humanity. For the humanity to progress as a whole extreme poverty should be overcome.

True Spiritual Organizations, Non Governmental Organizations [NGOs] and the concerned Government Departments should take full initiatives toward educating the poor people guiding them on the ways to overcome poverty and progress in life.

Here, the causes of poverty and how to overcome and transform it into a good & happy life are discussed:

Early Marriage & Uncared Children

Problem: They marry early and produce lots of children who they cannot take care of thus growing up as beggars and anti-social people, a social crime indeed!

Solution: They should delay their marriages or not to marry at all. If they can’t support themselves properly at the first place, how can they support a family? If they get married they should produce only those whom they can take care of properly if not so, better not to produce any children at all. Government should enforce 2-children [1male+1female] family policy to all its citizens.

Bad Habits

Problem: They have bad habits like alcoholism, tobacco use, smoking, doing drugs, gambling, eating too much flesh foods, wasting time etc.

Solution: They gotta stop all these bad habits and stop eating unhealthy food. Stopping bad habits cost nothing but brings good outcomes and simple & good foods are not costly but healthy.

Work for Survival

Problem: Poor people work for survival & as drudgery while good people enjoy their work.

Solution: They should know that Work is Worship and should enjoy their work. They should do their best not just for the routine. When people enjoy their work or profession, happiness comes naturally and when people work happily they produce better quality work that benefits to all.

Blind Following

Problem: Poor people have this nature of following orders of their so called masters or bosses without thinking or questioning. Most of them blindly follow false gurus, outdated traditions and have superstitious belief systems that keep them in darkness following the wrong path in life.

Solution: They need to know their rights and duties. They should think and do things rightfully instead of under fear or pressure. They should start questioning with human logic instead of blind following in the name of worshipping God.

Corruption

Problem: Supporting wrong doings or bribery without questioning due to fear or lack of knowledge is an unwanted happening among poor people.

Solution: They need be informed that there is no need for bribery or giving money to the government employees while they are giving services to the public because they are getting salaries for discharging their duties. Poor people need to be given awareness about the illegality of corruption so that they do not become easy prey to this social evil habit called corruption.

Slums

Problem: Slums should not be allowed in the cities. People should live in dignity not like animals in the dirty surroundings. Random people should not be allowed to encroach on public spaces.

Solution: Government should have slum control vigilant wing to watch and remove slums wherever & whenever they came up. Rich people should be ready to pay good wages or salaries to the people they employ. Exploiting poor people with low wages and salaries will only encourage people seek for free shelters in the slums. Housing being costly in the cities, affordable housing facilities for the poor but skilled labours should be provided either by the employer companies or by the government.

Beggars

Problem: Begging and encouraging beggar’s lifestyle is a wrong social tradition.

Solution: Begging should be banned by law everywhere and those found begging should be put at Life Transformation Centers where all inmates are engaged in some educative and productive activities.

Illiteracy

Problem: Illiteracy is also a big factor for people remaining poor.

Solution: Government should provide free education to poor income people up to Higher Secondary [Class-12] or some employable vocational Certificate or Diploma level so that they can start working and earning after that if they wish so or continue further higher studies under scholarship programs if they are good in studies.

Lack of Cleanliness

Problem: Cleanliness is found lacking among poor people thus affecting their health both physically and mentally. Nobody likes dirty people.

Solution: Cleanliness is next Godliness. Poor people need to be educated and guided on how to keep their bodies, houses and surroundings neat and clean. Neat & clean people are welcome everywhere and so they can progress better in life.

Child Labour

Problem: Child labour among poor people is common and this spoils children’s life in labour & work while they should be going to school and learning.

Solution: Government should enforce compulsory education for all children at least up to the Primary level [Class-5] and if possible to extend it up to Secondary level [Class-10] or Higher Secondary level [Class-12] so that children will engage in education & learning rather than labour & work in their early formative stages in life.

Slavery

Problem: Slavery means life without freedom and slaves become commodities usable at the whims of the master where they have no rights to voice against their masters even when they are abused badly. All kinds of bonded labour system where workers are used beyond working hours without extra payments and are not allowed employee welfare terms are also some types of slavery.

Solution: Slavery has no place in the democratic world where humanity wants to live in liberty exercising universal human rights in dignity. All kinds of slavery at all levels should be stopped by law and with the humane conscience of empathy.

Material Mindset

Problem: Material minded people are ready to sell themselves for money that allows them to be abused by others who have money to buy them.

Solution: Spiritual education that our Soul is more valuable than money or property is to be imparted to all that we should not degrade or enslave our souls under others for money or property. Having faith in God and living principled moral life and being dutiful & sincere will give happy life.

Cheating

Problem: Cheating, betraying, false promises are done by bad people and bad people deserve to become poor sooner or later. Cheaters will be cheated; it’s the law of karma and this unwanted vicious cycle continues in the society.

Solution: Do unto others what you want others do unto you. So, don’t cheat, betray or give false promises to any one as you don’t want it done to you by others.

Lack of Spirituality

Problem: Idolatry, superstitions or wrong worship systems in the name of Spirituality is common among poor people that make them remain poor and not progressive in life.

Solution: Follow spirituality. Spirituality is all about following God through our Spirit [Soul] by Thinking, Speaking and Doing good to all. By following our Inner Voice coming from God through our Souls we can live a good and happy life.
