SOME SUGGESTED STEPS TO STOP CORRUPTION
SOME SUGGESTED STEPS TO STOP CORRUPTION
Dear friends,
We all agree that a corrupt free administration will bring true progress, prosperity & happiness to all and so it's very important for all of us to find out ways to stop corruption of all types everywhere in our day to day life.
Some suggested steps to root out corruption are as follows:
1. Say no to corruption in all kinds of dealings in our everyday life by all people consciously.
2. Election reforms are a must in India stopping the candidates in all kinds of elections viz MP, MLA, Village Panchayats, Student Unions in Universities/Colleges/Schools, City Corporation /Municipality/Town Committee etc where people are elected for responsible public works / services. Election Commission of India has to fix the maximum amount of money a candidate can spend for such elections and those not following the rules be given stern punishments in the form of immediate disqualification from their candidature.
3. Bring in the strict laws against corrupt people under the proposed Lokpal Bill that should cover all people A-Z [beggars to the president of India].
4. People who report against corruption/corrupted people should be rewarded in cash/kind and given full police/legal protection.
5. All people who are found corrupted should be immediately terminated of their posts whether in government or private companies.
6. General people should keep vigil of any corrupt practices in govt.offices, educational institutes, police, army, NGOs, everywhere where public money/welfare activities are involved/ affected.
7.Top down system of stopping corruption is best effective e.g. in a government department, if the head of the department is strictly against corruption with himself/herself maintaining high integrity in it; then he/she can effectively discipline/control his/her staff against corruption.
8. Since in a democracy, top power is with the elected public representatives, it is best to stop corruption from the election process by not allowing people[candidates] to spend excessive money in elections so that they will not have an excuse to misappropriate public funds because they spent a lot in election time. So, we gotta start from election. We gotta change/reform the current corrupted election process in India at the first place and this reform will surely impact toward bringing lasting solution to the problems of corruption in India.
Thanks and please spread this message to all if you think this will be of some good use to stop corruption in India and elsewhere in the world.
